Famous as Salasar Balaji, this temple was established by Mohandas Maharaj on Shravana Shukla Navami in Vikram Samvat 1811. It is believed that Lord Hanuman, pleased by Mohandasji’s devotion, manifested in idol form at Asota and fulfilled the wishes of His devotee. Thereafter, the idol was consecrated at Salasar. Since Vikram Samvat 1811 (1754 AD), an eternal flame has been burning continuously at the place in the temple complex where Mohandasji's sacred fire (Dhuna) was located.
